Even mezelf voorstellen
januari 7th, 2007via Marokkopromotie wil ik mezelf toch even voorstellen: Mijn naam is Aziz Alaoui en ik leef sinds 1972 in Nederland.
Na de lagere school en daarna H.A.V.O. ben ik na mijn dienstijd in Nederland als eerste tank commandant van Marokkaanse afkomst P & O gaan studeren. Wegens omstandigheden ben ik bij de NMB-Postbank als mainframe operator gaan werken. Via het RCC Rijks Computer Centrum te Apeldoorn ben ik met een compagnon een detacheringbureau voor automatiseerders begonnen. Dit was in 1992 en de computerboom zou pas in 1998 tot 2001 komen! In 1993 besloot ik om toerisme te gaan studeren omdat ikzelf altijd al goed was in aardrijkskunde, geschiedenis en verschillende moderne talen. Na de MBO ben ik na 4 jaar door heel Europa te hebben gezworven aan de HBO avondopleiding begonnen aan de NHTV te Breda. Na 2 jaar ben ik begonnen als contracting manager voor de grootste touroperator van Europa. Na 4 jaar heb ik de kans gekregen om bij een kleinere touroperator, als produkt manager voor Marokko een programma op te zetten. Na 3 jaar ben ik nu ca. 2 jaar voor mezelf bezig met een adviesbureau voor hotelketens, vakantieparken en regio’s. Ook werk ik een aantal maanden per jaar als interim manager voor gerenommeerde touroperators. Na vorig jaar voor “Maroc Plus” beurs de vakdag toerisme te hebben helpen organiseren, wat volgens de reacties een succes was, hebben mijn compagnon Boubaker Ayad (bedrijfseconoom) en ik besloten om onze stichting “Maison du Maroc” te beginnen. Met deze stichting willen wij een positief geluid laten horen in Nederland, Europa en de rest van de wereld. Wij zijn op dit moment bezig om de grootste beurs voor Moslimlanden ooit in Nederland gehouden te organiseren. Wij hebben een optie voor 26 t/m 28 oktober 2007. Hoe groot de beurs wordt hangt van de animo af van de deelnemende landen! Van vrijdag t/m zondag geven wij de jeugdraad, politici, bekeerde moslims en moslimvrouwen een platvorm om ons als Nederlanders, Moslims of anders-gelovigen, hun toekomstvisie en wat ze van ons verwachten te vertellen. Het unieke ervan is dat ze nu niet gaan wijzen naar alles wat fout gaat maar, wat we eraan moeten en kunnen doen!
Verder willen we met Marokkopromotie iedere vereniging en/of stichting promoten en ondersteunen die een positief beeld v.w.b. Marokko en/of de Marokkaanse gemeenschap in het algemeen wil brengen!
Zelf zal ik gezien mijn contacten in de reiswereld in heel Europa, Japan, China en het Midden Oosten er alles aan doen om Marokko zo goed mogelijk te promoten. Dit doe ik omdat ik in het produkt “Marokko als fantastisch vakantieland” geloof. Marokko is volgens mij een paradijs op aarde want, het land heeft alles; 4000 km. strand, zee, bergen, meren, sneeuw, de Sahara en natuurlijk de vriendelijke bevolking! En hoe meer toeristen, hoe beter het zal zijn voor het land en haar inwoners die het hard nodig hebben! Er gaan vanuit Nederland ca. 18.000 toeristen per jaar naar Marokko en dat vind ik te weinig in vergelijking met andere landen zoals Tunesië en Egypte. Toeristen zullen ook veel beter de mens achter het woord “Marokkanen” leren kennen.
En dit is voor iedereen belangrijk, zowel de Nederlanders als Nederlanders van Marokkaanse afkomst!

Ik wens je heel veel succes om in Nederland je geboorteland en landgenoten te promoten.Ben met mijn gezin in 2005 daar op vakantie geweest en weet waar je het over hebt een mooi land met veel bezienswaardigheden.Een aanrader voor iedereen.

Lieve Marokko vrienden,
zelf ben ik in 3 keer in 2005 in naar Marokko geweest, waarvan de laatste keer met 40 familieleden en vrienden. Ik hoop dat er veel mensen vanuit Nederland naar Marokko zullen gaan om het land te (her)ontdekken. Beste Alaoui,
Zojuist heb ik uw stuk op marokkopromotie.nl gelezen. Hierbij, zou ik u graag willen complimenteren voor het vernieuwde ‘concept’.
Gedurende het lezen van uw stuk, kwamen bij mij drietal vragen op. Te beginnen, met de eindresultaten van het debat. Wat zal hier uiteindelijk mee gedaan worden? Wordt hiervoor een speciale werkgroep gecreëerd?
Is er een een website, waar ik meer informatie over uw project kan vinden?
